About this exam

The final exam sums up the course Music Theory from Scratch. The questions mix content from the course quizzes: note names and accidentals, whole and half steps, note values such as whole, half and quarter notes, rests, and beats and time signatures. The exam is for you who have finished the course and want to see how much you have learned, but also for anyone who wants to check their music theory basics.

Every time you take the exam you get 10 random questions drawn from a bank of 92. You need 80% correct to pass, which means at least 8 out of 10. Afterwards you can review all your answers and see what to practice.
